Voice for Teachers – Evergreen

Welcome to your course

Welcome to your course – you’ve made a great choice deciding to improve your capabilities by learning our techniques. During this course you are going to be learning about your voice and how to get the very best out of it so you can have a robust voice that supports you for the rest of your career.

As much as I’d like to be able to wave a magic wand and give you a stronger, louder, and protected voice, unfortunately it doesn’t work like that. This is going to take a bit of effort on your part, but our feedback has been it’s an enjoyable and rewarding experience.

During the course you will learn the ‘whys’ of what we are doing and that is the easy part. You will also be learning exercises; these exercises need to become a part of your daily routine.

“Oh No! Not more stuff to add to my already hectic routine!” I hear you say…

Let me put your mind at rest. The most important thing you will learn during this course is a set of exercises that form an easy warm-up routine. Once learned, this warm-up will take between five and ten minutes and can be completed whilst doing other activities. Alternatively, you could make it a part of your first class of the day and give your students the benefit of learning about their voices as well! Course participants have been known to complete this warm-up whilst in the shower (this is actually ideal as the warm, moist air is great for the voice), putting on make-up and whilst driving. Each of these are tasks you have to do anyway, so you can add a bit of vocal spice that will give you a stronger, more reliable voice for the rest of your career.

You will find that you have access to all of the course material straight away. It is recommended that you complete the course at one module per week to get the best results and see real benefits to your voice.

We also have a great community on Facebook to allow you to grow your community, ask questions and get support from your colleagues and from me. Find it at https://www.facebook.com/groups/voiceforteachers/

So lets get started…
